This December, the HS Doc Club brings a special treat that you won’t want to miss! On Thursday, December 10th at 7:00 pm we will be gathering at the White House Studio Project (277.5 Augusta Avenue) to unveil the curtains and discover an incredible story that has yet to be told theatrically. Following secret screening etiquette, the film’s identity will remain a mystery until the audience is in their seats and the credits begin to roll…

While we can’t provide an insightful synopsis – let alone the film’s title or the names attached to it– rest assured that we wouldn’t be asking you to leave the warmth of your own homes to come and watch just any ol’ doc. It is currently traveling throughout the festival circuit and has already reached the public’s eye at Tribeca Film Festival.

The White House Studio has generously donated the space for the screening, but if you’d like us to continue bringing cool events like this one, we encourage a minimum $5 cash donation at the door. For one night only, you can be a part of this unforgettable experience– because a room filled with anticipation and good conversation brings incentive even to those who hate surprises.

Let yourself be reigned by sheer curiosity and save a seat fast, by RSVPing to the event and emailing us at theharvardseal@gmail.com. The first 25 members will be added to the guest list and guaranteed the opportunity to take part in this collective discovery!

However, we urge you to RSVP if and only if you are certain that you can make it. Space is extremely limited and we want to share this experience with as many people as possible.

If you haven’t come out to meet us yet, this December screening is the one you won’t want to sleep on! For more information about the Harvard Seal Doc Club and our upcoming events, join the Facebook page or mailing list to stay in the loop!

…And the secret was, Steve Hoover’s new feature Crocodile Gennadiy! This screening was particularly special for the HS Doc Club, having watched his debut doc Blood Brother together in 2013 (now on Netflix, nudge, nudge). The director was extra amazing for chatting with us over Skype and answering a few of our questions after this jaw-dropping doc. Thanks to everyone who came out, and if you couldn’t join us this time around, we’ll be bringing you some more gems like this one soon enough!
